Website is clickable! Whoop

I refined the html code and css, which I showed in the last jury, to be identical to the Architect’s Journal. Today I will replace the text with the headlines of my project and fill in the blue rectangles with the content of my project. By ripping of the open source html and css format off the AJ, I don’t want to point towards the content of the page (that is my project) but raise the question: “In how far are you allowed to appropriate or steal formats if they are openly accessible?” The same way in which one may copy the stucture of a book, can one copy the structure of a website? I saw Miruna had a similar idea but hopefully a different motivation. I’ll still continue reformatting my project into an online magazine. I’ll update later.

mmmm… I see appropriating…stealing….openly accessible….and copy the structure. WELL DONE YOU, I am proud of you. ehheh

Anyway, I like the re-formatting, I would like to know if you are going to present the project in 3/4 different formats then?

  2. Anouk Ahlborn says:

Thanks Sabri for letting me hop on your boat for a little while. :-*
I don’t get the question. Are you hinting at something? 3/4 sounds cool! Perhaps the missing 1/4 is when I get my head chopped off during the jury, the last presentation format. Or the 1/4 cake which I’ll do for Wednesday.

i think she meant to ask if you were going to use 3 or 4 different formats…and not three quarters (3/4)
      haha but whatever sounds cool!

Haha! As I was getting lunch I thought she may have meant that I should check my word count…In the last jury, Natasha’s comment was “Words”. Thanks for your help guys! :)

No, I’m not sure what you are doing at the moment :)) – I think I lost track a bit since I last saw your presentation at the end of January, but instead of AJ I could have chosen projects review or my own website, maybe that would make more sense actually. – It’s not about the web format, it’s about the digital counterpart or the digital context in which the project exists. Actually seeing you comments and writing this convinced me it should be in projects review….because that is the actual place that drawing is likely to end up. thx!

I like all the story of the 1/4, the chooped head and the cake. obviously, IN DA CAKE!
