so for the last couple of days I been trying to find a way while working on studio the work I produce to take it and elaborate on it more with explanatory drawings for Ts.
While thinking about the context and how to argue for the exquisite corpse in architecture I am working on connections and joining techniques for ts.
1)The following box is part of the triptych “Exquis corps” its the place where you will take the strip drawings from the main box (the one with the iPad) and assemble them. it is meant to be an interactive-performative moment for the audience to try to assemble architectural bodies.
I was trying to assemble a first version of this on Friday but it looked ugly and not working properly so i tried to design a new one.
Now I need to continue to work on the strip drawings and then make the gif that will be constantly playing on the iPad.)
2) For a while a have been thinking to do a mini version of my model that will include only booklets drawings and information about the grains. This model comes before the exquisite corpse box. This is the moment where we first find the grains in this continuous looping model.
the 6 boxes are going to have the booklets inside, everything else is supporting structure that allowed the model model to move rotate and freeze on the the 6 different stages.
The holes are for the magnets, you won’t be able to see the wholes because there will be inside the mdf. the whole model will be covered with the same book binding fabric which I used on the exquis corpse box.
I was quite overwhelmed during the weekend with the amount of work that needs to be done so I took the decision to simplify things and start step by step to organise my thoughts.
1) Continuous paper technique:
2) Continuous model (with fabric joints)
3) Now I am working on explanatory drawings for big model.
Thats is where I am am now.
Ts Book spreads –>will post later I am still working on them.
