The death of he author-
As I have said eisenman hides his buildings in his writing. He is the ultimate author up until the point when the building is built. At that point he no longer becomes the author anymore. The question of authorship is also one that has surrounded Eisenman, questioned by foucalt derrida and barthes. The mausoleum would have a number of rooms each questioning the author and its death. Although this discussion has normally centered around literature it relation to architecture is important. So for tomorrow I need to write a text to iron things out a bit more and begin to figure out the title for the rooms and what should go in them. Also how much the rooms should relate to Eisenman as the author. I also need to define author.
