The named view in regard to space relates to the contemporary curated identity. A recent project by Thailand-based photographer Chompoo Baritone showed a series of social media images and their possible out-of-frame realistic clutter:
It reminds me also of this photo from the New York Fashion Week which has been circulating around the internet for a while. Fashion also requires good framing!
If the first is the real artefact, the second shows it as a fake, how do I show it as unbuilt, as fiction – the paper stage?
In the previous post I was trying to show this descent into the unbuilt by making the drawing an axo, so maybe the unbuilt is always shown through the axo.

I went on a walk around hackney on Saturday and took photographs of the main typographies of building that I saw. I have started to make a model of a council block which does not exist. I have used different aspects of certain buildings to make my new version. I am making the model A1 in size. Bellow are some pictures of the first floor of housing. Sorry about the photo quality took them on the iphone.
In thinking about how to develop the flat-stage I was reminded of The Paper Cinema’s production of The Odyssey. In a modern interpretation of the traditional shadow puppet theatre, the audience sit behind the puppeteers who use a live camera-feed to film different arrangements of paper and card to tell the story. It is most successful as a live performance as, though you are essentially watching the projected live film feed, seeing the manipulation of the paper and card characters and the crude lighting effects (for example a desk lamp is switched on and off a few times to create a lightening storm) is all part of the experience. As “backstage” has physically moved in front of the screen the traditional hierarchy of the theatre stage becomes ambiguous.
