Natasha was right; the people were totally over-scaled… but i still don’t like the image – there’s sth wrong with it.
Bring it tomorrow we can work on it. The problem is that the foreground is too foreshortened. You need more km to pass between where the bottom edge of paper is and the entrance to the mountain. I refer you AGAIN to my 5 links in the last points that have the road disappearing into the horizon. it’s just far too wide at the entry point to mountain. even if the measurements are correct, visually it’s wrong. Also the buildings on the left make your mountain look like a moderately large pile of rubbish, and not a mountain. It’s getting SMALLER instead of bigger.
I agree, you should keep the people the size they are now…and the scale of the mountain as it is …but put much more distance between the foreground ( people) and background ( mountain)
Maybe it’s easier if you don’t put buildings…maybe a tiny city skyline running behind the mountain?
the image has no space to breath ….more sky, more foreground and one huge f$%£^ing mountain
