I ‘ve been trying to really define each of the separate worlds – having their own language, key words etc.
If the forger (piranesi forgeries in files) and fiction maker (section strip and film screen shots) are pretty well defined, the one that I felt I needed to simplify a bit was the faker (balloon world). As such, I now have a fold out of the technicalities of lifting the gallons (instead of always referring to the ts book). The big comiled drawing is divided into four parts over which, while I present, I place four views. I think this will make the presentation a bit neater and less haphazard. The first diagram (the caryatides) is on the fold out cover.
My question is: colour or no colour (or different colours)? The colors are in line with the colour scheme I use for the rest of the chapter The big coloured circles are the layers of atmosphere/stratosphere/earth relating to the drawing in the upper right corner. Is it confusing with the big circles (I feel like I try to cram in too much stuff into a drawing so maybe simple is best?
