History of Work (update)

please ignore the sound… i haven’t had time to work on it, yet.

sequence shows weavers housing, cromford mill and the ford river rouge complex – comparing scale and distance of work to home. now is only the decline of industry missing; hope to have that done by early tomorrow, so i can go back to the section drawing etc.

Black background makes everything very difficult to see / read. The first opening scene needs some beautification work on it – also once it transitions to the elevation – can’t see the lines at all.

would you suggest to get rid of the black entirely? i quite liked the idea of it sometimes being background and sometimes the back screen of transition.
maybe its just the line-weights that need to be thicker?

Maybe zooming in a bit could help see the lines as well. I am not understanding the shift from the map and then that red shape falling on it.

    • Felix Brinkhege says:

its work in progress!! the big red shape is the footprint of the ford motor factory… showing its like 100 times bigger than the first factory – hence dwelling takes place even further away. it’ll much more clear with voice over & subs.

    yes sir!!
