Three options for the overall layout of the plan
1) The border of the hoarding wall is the border of the city, a discontinuous grid is inlaid
2) An orthogonal grid overlaid onto a square which approximates the borders of the City.
3) An orthogonal 100 meter grid overlaid onto the City of London. Perhaps thicker walls follow the border of the City. The hoarding grows to accomodate construction sites within the existing urban fabric. Other hoarding extends beyond the City.
At this point I’m thinking option 3, as the most generic (and possibly Smithson-esque?) may be the best, especially if the mega-hoarding is to extend infinitely. reactions greatly appreciated!
